Mr. Ren has over 30 years of banking and capital markets experience with leading international and regional financial institutions. Currently, Mr. Ren is the senior advisor for Storm Harbour, a boutique investment bank in Hong Kong. Prior, Mr. Ren was Head of Capital Markets China, with Standard Chartered Bank in Hong Kong where he headed the team on debt capital market and syndication deals. Mr. Ren has held various senior capital market roles with foreign institutions such as Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Fleet Boston Financial, and Bear Stearns & Co. Mr. Ren started initial 10 years of his career with Bank of China holding various positions, among others, chief dealer in charge of foreign exchange and treasury in Hong Kong. He has an extensive background in corporate finance, originations and sales, fixed income, equity-linked, and credit-linked instruments, foreign exchange, money market and derivative products, and structured finance.
